Jodie Miles

Senior Instructor

I have been dancing from the very early age of three years old. I obtained several scholarships and awarded many dance, intensive, and opportunities with a chance to move to The Woodlands area.

Many years ago, I met a very special person in my life, Bonnie Schuetz. I began my journey as a dance instructor in 1984 when Bonis Dance Studio was first opened and taught there for 28+ years. I have also performed in several musicals, such as “The Sound of Music,” “South Pacific,” “Hello Dolly,” and “Mame.”

I also have an extensive level of experience with gymnastics and cheerleading. I was finalist as a Derek doll with the Houston Oilers. I have also had the opportunity to be in commercials, and I have performed at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion with Barry Manilow, Clay Walker, and other tours that came to the Woodlands.

I have been married to my husband, Dave, for 35 years am a very proud mom of three boys that all graduated from The Woodlands High School.

In 2023, I began teaching at Woodforest Dance Company and brought my expertise in Jazz, Tap, Ballet and HipHop and working with autistic and special needs children. I am so excited and blessed to have been given the opportunity at Woodforest Dance Company to continue my passion of helping to create strong girls and boys with the confidence that dance and performing gives.

Thank you for sharing your children with me!
